ICoD is pleased to announce the Member Event, Exploración Inmersiva (Immersive Exploration), organised by Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Da Vinci University of Guatemala. The festival will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Barceló Hotel.

The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Da Vinci University of Guatemala will host its annual academic festival, “Exploración Inmersiva” (Immersive Exploration), on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at the Barceló Hotel, Guatemala City. Running from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the event brings together students from the School of Architecture, Design, Art and Creative Industries for a full day of exchange, inspiration, and discovery.

This year’s theme focuses on immersive design, with an international programme featuring guest speakers and workshop leaders from Mexico and Colombia, who will share their expertise in creating 360° design experiences. The event also highlights local talent, including renowned Guatemalan astrophotographer Sergio Montúfar, and a special session on visual effects by Juan Carlos Saravia.

“Exploración Inmersiva” offers a platform for students to engage with cutting-edge practices, expand their creative horizons, and connect with both regional and international design perspectives.
The event will be a unique opportunity for designers, artists and creatives who want to learn about immersive design.
